We have boarded our first plane to South America. We have had to say goodbye to many friends and love ones. The hardest departure was our best friend Sally. Sally passed away on January 30th after 12 glorious years. Her favorite activities were making new friends and meeting old friends, riding in the car and sleeping the day away on the couch. We miss her dearly and we take comfort in knowing she will be looking out for us as we travel.
